Abstract: Chain2 is the on-request post-pulse analysis suite for the JET tokamak. In this talk we go through its function and code outlines.
Short bio: David Taylor is Responsible Officer of the second data processing chain (CHAIN2) of the JET tokamak. He has worked in numerical modelling on tokamaks at Culham in the UK since 2001. After working on equilibrium and neutron emission on MAST he moved to JET in 2015, where he has responsibility for the PION code among others.
